Services:
- Assessment of pre-selected sites and final selection of appropriate rural cooperatives
- Detailed field assessment of final sites for the development of a viable business model
- Finance modelling and finetuning of business model in dialogue with the cooperatives
- Support in procurement, especially in regards to the proper sizing according to the demand for rice processing services and milk cooling
- Elaboration of a business plan (incl. finance plan, which also defines the monthly payments to a separate account for simulating a loan service), based on the financial analysis ad in intense dialogue with local stakeholders
- Holding an operationalization workshop with all relevant stakeholders (incl. producers/cooperative, buyers and local government)
- Development and introduction of monitoring system
- Evaluation of lessons learnt and concluding recommendations for commercialization
