Scope of Service:
- Assessment of market size of the various RE market segments (C&I, minigrids, stand-alone productive use of energy systems etc.)
- Sensibilization workshops for finance institutions in Rwanda
- Assessment of interest of Rwandan FIs in finance of RE investments, especially decentralized RE systems
- Training of 2 selected banks on RE finance (focus on decentralized RE investments), incl. Overview about technologies and use cases, profitability of investment in these RE systems, risk assessment etc. (incl. preparation of training material, conducting of trainings in presence)
- Follow-up coaching of one selected bank on due diligence/ risk assessment and on project pipeline development
