- Assessing opportunities and challenges of green finance in selected countries and for selected technologies (assessment in close dialogue with private sector and financial institutions).
- Assessing and defining the need for green finance to be provided by Donor Finance Institutions (DFIs).
- Development of project pipelines for credit lines of DFIs.
- Capacity building (training/coaching) of private sector players on available funds (equity, impact funds, debt finance, venture capital funds, crowdfunds, etc.), their requirements, in terms of developing 'bankable' project proposals, and applying for funds.
